KDM Drives have been designed to work with the Kone EcoDisc elevators. They are high-speed, high-capacity, and extremely efficient regenerative drives. A regenerative drive saves energy by putting the spare energy generated back into the machine. This saves on electricity and so makes the model environmentally friendly.
The drive provides speeds up to 3 m/s. It can take loads up to 1600 kg. It can also deal with 240 starts/h.
KDM drives provide accurate stopping so this improves elevator safety. Also, they can be programmed to fit the acceleration/jerk values. Additionally, the drive can be customized to suit the different needs of individual customers and different buildings. All of this maximizes client comfort.
