About

The Altivar 61 is the fan and pump member of Schneider Electric’s Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 pair, catalogued for variable torque duty and also usable on constant torque loads that do not require high starting current.

The range covers 0.37 to 800 kW across 89 catalogue numbers, on supply classes from 200-240 V to 500-690 V. H is the standard drive on a heatsink and W the IP54 or UL Type 12 build, and the rating block is a kW multiplier, so 075 is 0.75 kW and C75 is 750 kW. X means no class A EMC filter, Z means no graphic display terminal, and D no DC choke, expecting an external reactor.

Schneider has phased the range out and maps the ATV630 onto the ATV61H and the ATV650 onto the ATV61W. It warns that the ATV600 has no provision for a dynamic braking resistor or a DC bus connection, so an ATV61 wired to either has no like for like successor.
