The AGy-L is the lift version of SIEI’s AGy general-purpose inverter. It is a series of dedicated drives for lift asynchronous motors from 4.0 to 200 kW, aimed at plant modernisation and at open loop applications up to 1 m/s, with higher speeds available in closed loop using the EXP-ENC-AGy encoder option. Unlike the AVy-L there is no brushless firmware variant.
Seventeen frame sizes span 4 to 200 kW at 400 V on a three-phase 230 to 480 V supply. Every size is rated twice, to IEC 146 class 1 for continuous duty and to IEC 146 class 2 for 150 per cent overload for 60 seconds. The braking IGBT unit is standard on every size, with an external resistor.
Eight digital inputs and four digital outputs come pre-mapped for lift use. DC-link discharge time is published per size and runs from 60 seconds on the 4221 and 4301 to 220 seconds on the 3110, 3150 and 4185.
