The SYSDRIVE 3G3RV is the high-function general-purpose member of Omron’s 3G3 inverter range, the last series to carry the SYSDRIVE name. The hardware is Yaskawa’s, badged and part-numbered by Omron. Two generations were sold: the original covers 0.4 to 160 kW across three-phase 200 V and 400 V classes, with V/f, V/f with PG feedback and open loop vector control.
The later 3G3RV-V1 adds flux vector control with a 1:1000 speed range, doubles the maximum output frequency in constant torque duty from 150 Hz to 300 Hz, and extends the 400 V class to 185, 220 and 300 kW. Parameter C6-01 selects constant torque duty at 150 per cent overload for one minute or variable torque duty at 120 per cent.
Establish which generation is in front of you before quoting: a -V1 suffix changes the control modes, the I/O count and the top of the range, while on the first edition that trailing field marks the European model with -E.

SYSDRIVE is Omron's family branding rather than a single series, and it spans several inverter families including the 3G3EV, 3G3JV, 3G3MV, 3G3HV, 3G3FV, 3G3IV and 3G3SV. This page covers the 3G3RV, which is the last series to carry the name: the 3G3RX that followed it does not use the word SYSDRIVE anywhere in its manual. Omron does not publish a single consolidated model list covering the whole SYSDRIVE range, so we have not reproduced one here rather than risk listing ratings against the wrong family.
